Graduate School in Mathematics and Computing

The Graduate School in Mathematics and Computing (FMB) is one of sixteen graduate schools created by the Government of Sweden. Uppsala University is its host university, and Karlstad University, Mid Sweden University and Mälardalen University are partners.

The research subjects covered by FMB are: Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Scientific Computing, Computerized Image Processing, Mathematical Logic, and Mathematical Statistics.

The Graduate School in Mathematics and Computing promotes cooperation between the four partner universities and the different research areas within mathematics and computing.
