Summer school on Legendrian contact homology, and a variety of augmentations
14-18 August 2017
Krusenberg Herrgård, Knivsta, Sweden.
The model for this workshop is the very popular and successful Talbot Workshop. The workshop will constitute a weeklong retreat with talks and organised discussions during the day; enough time will be kept clear for informal discussions and collaborations. Prof Lenny Ng (Duke University) will outline the program of talks to be given by the participants. Most participants will be expected to give one of the talks.
Topics: Legendrian contact homology, with a focus on knot contact homology; other applications may include string topology, Legendrian surgery formulae, and sheaves/generating families. Here is the program, and here is the wiki page.
Registration and funding: due to space and funding limitation, we will only allow a strictly limited number of participants, for whom we will cover all local expenses (accommodation in shared rooms and meals), and will provide support for travel expenses within Europe. It is now no longer possible to apply.
Travel information: the venue is easy to reach from Stockholm-Arlanda (ARN) airport. It can also be reached from Stockholm-Västerås (VST) airport; the other airports in Stockholm are far less convenient.
