In Swedish
I am a Ph.D. in mathematics and I defended my thesis,
Digital Geometry and Khalimsky Spaces on February 29, 2008.
I studied at the
Department of Mathematics,
Uppsala University and FMB.
My advisors were
Christer Kiselman and
Gunilla Borgefors,
professor in Image Analysis. I had also an advisor from Stockholm University,
Mikael Passare.
Research
My research is about digital geometry—the geometry of the computer screen.
I am in particluar interested in connectedness and continuity in digital spaces equipped with
the Khalimsky topology. I have also studied digital curves and surfaces in such spaces.
The background of this page is an illustration of the
Khalimsky plane. The lines shows which points are adjacent.

- I run orienteering for my club OK Linné. The photo to the left was taken
in Spain 2005 by Lars Magnusson.
- I am a juggler and instructor at the Uppsala Circus School for children.
- I also run a small software company, Melin Software.
For example, we have developed the orienteering game
Oriantica.
