    These exercises are not part of the examination, but will be discussed or solved during lectures or exercise classes.

    Examination and Assignments

    The examination of the course will consist of a written exam, and possibly also an oral exam. Assignments will be handed out during the course. These are not mandatory, but it will be possible to earn bonus points (10% of total score) for the written exam by solving these successfully. You will have about two weeks to work on each set of problems.
    Scale for bonus points: 0-11 assignment points = 0 bonus points, 12-24 points = 1 bonus point, 25-39 points = 2 bonus points, 40-49 points = 3 bonus points, 50-60 points = 4 bonus points.

    You may bring one A4 page, containing no more than 5000 characters, of your own notes to the written exam.
